Virgin Australia … Now You’re Flying!
Virgin Australia, The second largest airline down under officially entered into service over the past weekend. Virgin Groups Australian operations which had included ‘Virgin Blue’ which operated all of the companies domestic flights, ‘V Australia’ the company that operated it’s long-haul intercontinental flights and ‘Pacific Blue’ which operated flights to New Zealand and other Pacific island nations.
“From today, ‘Virgin Australia’ will operate domestically in Australia,” Virgin Australia Airlines’ first ever CEO John Borghetti said. ”By the end of the year, our international product V Australia and Pacific Blue will also operate under the ‘Virgin Australia’ name.”

Virgin Australia has removed all traces of Virgin Blue’s bright red livery in favour of an all-white design. The airline has also introduced a stylish new ‘Virgin’ logo in red on the aircrafts tail, as well as red stripes around the engines. The design on the livery features the ‘Virgin Australia’ branding along the fuselage of the aircraft is a lower-case silver lettering.
