Ralph Lauren’s Car Show in Paris

If you are fan of cars and happen to be in Paris from now until August 28, the Ralph Lauren Car Show at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs is a must see. The museum is currently hosting 17 cars from the Ralph Lauren Car collection, selected by Rodolphe Rapetti, and put on display by Jean-Michel Wilmotte.

Hey Japan… Gucci Loves You!

Have a hundred bucks to donate to the Japan relief effort and want to reward yourself for doing so? Gucci has designed a charity bracelet that retails for $100 and all of the proceeds from it benefits the Japanese Red Cross.

The bracelet is made of leather and sports red and white (the Japanese national colors) triple stripes. The buckle and circular shaped charm which is inscribed with “Gucci Loves You” is made of sterling silver.

The charity bracelet goes on sale this Saturday in Japan and next week in Gucci stores worldwide and online.

PPR, The parent company of Gucci, as well as Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga has raised over $3 million in for the Japanese earthquake victims.
